We announced some big news at the end of July. Did you hear it?
In case you missed it, we shared that Keystone Resources has new ownership and a new office in the Galleria area!
We think it’s time to introduce you to our new owner, Tina Nguyen. We couldn’t be happier to welcome her to our Keystone Resources family and are excited to see where she’s able to take us under her leadership and vision.
To help you get to know Tina better, we sat down to ask her some questions. We hope you have the chance to come in and meet her in person soon at our new Galleria area office, or if you have more questions to ask her, leave us a comment!
Welcoming Our New Owner, Tina Nguyen:
Introduce yourself. Where are you from?
My name is Tina Nguyen, and I’m originally from Vietnam. I moved to Houston 14 years ago in 2003 after spending 4 years in Milwaukee and 2 years in Seattle. I’m currently living in Sugar Land, with my husband and two beautiful children, Nathan and Nora.
What is your academic and professional background?
I’m a Certified Public Accountant with a B.A. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. After I moved to Houston, I got my Master in Accountancy degree at the University of Houston in 2006. I started my own CPA firm in 2010, and since then, I have acquired three CPA firms. In 2017, I acquired Keystone Resources and added an in-house print division.
What are you excited about at Keystone Resources?
The Keystone Resources team is very dynamic and talented. I’m so excited to work with them.
What are your top three priorities as Keystone Resource’s owner?
My top three priorities as Keystone Resource’s owner are Client Services, Business Development, and Team Building.
What would you like Keystone Resource’s current clients to know about you?
I want to be part of each client’s success. I’d like all of our current clients (and everyone who might want to work with us in the future!) to know that our team is still committed to helping them achieve their marketing goals.
What are your favorite things to do around Houston?
I love trying out new restaurants in Houston. I’m a foodie. I love going to Uchi, and Thai Gourmet is my new favorite Thai restaurant near our office. They have a good lunch menu, Pad Thai that is not too sweet or too sour, and their mango sticky rice is just perfect.
What are you passionate about?
I love working with my business’s clients. I enjoy meeting them and using my expertise to help them develop new solutions.
Where is your favorite place to travel?
Anywhere. I go where the food goes!
Coffee or tea?
What’s your spirit animal?
My spirit animal is a horse, because I can never stand still. I’m always on the move, and always moving forward, just like a horse.
